2010 National Farmworker Health Conference
Omni San Diego
May 5 - 7, 2010
Join us in San Diego, California at the 2010 National Farmworker Health Conference as we look at the Future of the Medical Home.
This year’s conference will focus on the future of the health care home and the medical home initiatives. President Obama has directed the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to implement a 3 year “medical home” initiative in 500 community health centers to evaluate the impact on access, quality, and cost of care provided to Medicare beneficiaries. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will develop the demonstration, which would include a solicitation of applications from Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) grantees.
We look forward to your participation in San Diego, California, May 5-7 as leaders from community/migrant health programs, national organizations, and federal and state officials assemble to network and discuss the changes in health care, farmworker health, and the future of the medical home.
