Public Health Authorizations - Community health centers depend in great part on federal support. Benefits have extended far beyond direct recipients of health center care. Here’s why NACHC favors reauthorization.

Medicaid/SCHIP - These two major federal programs provide health care for millions of Americans, which is why NACHC provides an information and advocacy link between its members and the legislative and administrative sectors.

Medicare - The nation’s health care insurance program for older Americans, Medicare provides for care of more than a million people through health centers. To ensure adequate reimbursement, the NACHC is working to ease payment caps.

FEHBP - As more Americans find themselves without adequate health insurance, health centers bear more of the care burden. The NACHC favors aggressive efforts to expand insurance coverage, and supports inclusion of health center staff in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program.
