Treating Opioid Addiction in West Virginia: Health Centers Highlighted

“West Virginia bears the unfortunate mantle of being at the epicenter of the nationwide opioid addiction epidemic,” writes Louise Reese, CEO of the West Virginia Primary Care Association in a new op-ed published in today’s Charleston Gazette The state claimed 32 overdose deaths per 100,000 people, nearly triple the national average in 2015.
