New Report: State Funding for Health Centers Reaches Lowest Level in Seven Years

Community Health Centers are struggling with a steep decline in state funding for the fourth straight year, according to a new report from the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC).  The NACHC assessment shows that 35 states will provide funding to health centers in FY 2012 totaling $335 million.  This is almost $60 million less than last year (a 15 percent decline).
