Cultivating Health Center Operations (CHCO) is  the enhanced, intermediate-level of NACHC’s health center operations training seminars.  This training will provide CEOs, COOs, and other health center operations leaders the strategies and best practices to effectively identify and scale approaches to operational efficiency, test and evaluate data to support change, and lead stakeholders through the change process.
Also provided are strategies and best practices to help health centers:
  • Describe strategies to support the alignment of people, process and, place to improve operational efficiency and sustainability.
  • Identify methods to propose change initiatives to stakeholders and build a successful campaign to support those changes.
  • Apply techniques to effectively lead teams through change initiatives.
  • Summarize how and when to use data to track through change initiatives.
Delivery Method: Group Live
Prerequisites and or Pre Work:  A minimum two years of service in direct employment of a health center in an operations, management, or administrative role.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this two-day training, the participants will be able to:
  1. Describe strategies to support the alignment of people, process and place to improve operational efficiencies and sustainability.
  2. Identify methods to propose change initiatives to stakeholders and build a successful campaign to support those changes.
  3. Apply techniques to effectively lead teams through change initiatives.
  4. Summarize how and when to use data to track and monitor change initiatives.

Continuing Education Credits:
The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) provides continuing education credits through NASBA. This training has been recommend for 16 CPE credits in the “Specialized Knowledge and Applications” Category.  State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses of CPE credit.
