America’s Health Centers to Convene in Orlando for National Conference

The 2018 Community Health Institute (CHI) and EXPO, hosted by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), will kick off this week (August 24th-28th) in Orlando, Florida.  The annual national conference, which draws thousands of health center clinicians, nurses, CEOs, board members and advocates from around the U.S., comes as new data show that America’s Health Centers serve more patients than ever at 28 million in 11,000 communities across the country.

Areas of focus for attendees at the NACHC CHI will be fostering successful treatment models for substance use disorders – including opioid addiction – recruiting and retaining the health center workforce and sustaining long term growth and funding to meet the continuing demand for affordable primary care.

The conference also features experts and thought leaders from the health care industry and 150 exhibitors from various sectors of the health care industry at the EXPO.
