Apply Now for MAHC I Courses

NACHC partners with state and regional primary care associations (S/RPCAs) to offer health centers the Managing Ambulatory Health Care (MAHC) training courses. The courses, presented in four levels are developed and taught by Harvard faculty. Although participants are encouraged to attend each training course in order as each level builds upon the other accordingly, they are appropriate for any clinical leader, especially those with some experience in the leadership role and/or prior management training.

Enrollment is now open for two of the introductory level courses. Managing Ambulatory Health Care I: Introductory Course for Clinicians in Health Centers (MAHC I) is an intensive four-day course that goes beyond the basics of being a new clinical director in a Federally Qualified Health Center. MAHC I focuses on skills that are essential to today’s community health center environment. Each on-site course addresses the following topic areas:

  • Financial Management
  • The Enhanced Role of the Clinical Director (Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, etc.)
  • Clinical Operations
  • Productivity Management
  • Performance Compensation
