Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) have long affected the well-being of communities across the nation, including access to the most basic of human needs. In March 2019, these drivers were magnified by the COVID-19 pandemic, seeing millions of Americans become food insecure, unemployed, unstably housed, and dying at alarming rates – especially in neighborhoods historically impacted by structural racism.
Hear from Cameron Webb, MD, JD, Senior Policy Advisor for Equity, White House COVID-19 Response Team , and health center leaders about how Social Determinants of Health are affecting our communities — including access to the most basic of human needs — and the strategies Community Health centers are developing to counter them head-on.
Also featuring:
Andrea Caracostis, MD, MPH, CEO - HOPE Clinic (TX)
Rashad A. Collins, COO - Charter Oak Health Center, Inc. (CT)
Antony Stately, PhD, CEO - Native American Community Clinic (MN)
