NACHC Briefing on Health Center Funding
Join NACHC to learn more about the bipartisan funding for Community Health Centers that Congress passed last week as part of the package to prevent a government shutdown. Congress extended health center funding through December 31, 2024, and authorized a much-needed funding boost for the first time in nearly a decade. In addition to increasing funding prospectively to $4.4 billion annually for health centers, the spending bill also extends and increases key primary care workforce programs – the National Health Service Corps and the Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education Program.
