Getting Covered: The Role of Community Health Centers in Connecting Patients to Health Insurance
Tuesday, June 22 | 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm ET

NACHC and Young Invincibles (YI) are partnering for a webinar to discuss the importance of health center patients getting covered through the Marketplace Special Enrollment Period (SEP) and how assisters can help. The webinar will be livestreamed on Facebook. This event is part of a special week of action devoted to health centers and the SEP. Join us to get the word out about the SEP for your patients!

Community Health Center Week of Action for the Special Enrollment Period
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has extended access to the Special Enrollment Period (SEP) until August 15 – giving consumers additional time to take advantage of new savings through the American Rescue Plan (ARP). Now health center patients have even more time to find a plan that works for them at HealthCare.gov.
Use CMS’s Week of Action Toolkit to help spread the word about the SEP in your community: View toolkit.

  • Ted Henson, Director, Health Center Growth and Development, NACHC
  • Michelle Sanders, Director, Development & Marketing, Heartland Health Services in Illinois. Heartland is a member of NACHC’s Outreach and Enrollment Learning Collaborative.
