The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) is studying board practices at health centers, and we are seeking input from health center board members and CEOs!

Have you ever wondered how other health center boards recruit board members, how long their board meetings last, or what committees they have? In partnership with an advisory group, the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) has created an online assessment tool to learn more about health center board practices and needs. This project will:

• identify practices and emerging trends in health center governance,
• result in a report that will be available later this year on the Health Center Resource Clearinghouse that will allow your board to reflect on how its practices compare to centers across the country, and
• allow NACHC to continue to create timely training tools and resources to serve health center boards building on the over 50 resources already available.

If you are a health center board member or CEO, please participate in this online assessment tool by February 13, 2023; the assessment can be accessed:

Please note:

• Responses can be provided on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
• The assessment does not have to be completed in one sitting if you return to it in the same browser on the same computer or device where you started to respond.
• It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
• All results will remain confidential, be reported in aggregate from all health centers, and used only for this project and future resource creation.
