The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) is hosting a Capitol Hill briefing, on Tuesday, March 15, at 2:30 pm, that will feature a panel of Community Health Center leaders from rural and urban communities who will share their perspectives from the front lines of health care delivery. The discussion will focus on how innovation, workforce, and care integration are changing primary healthcare delivery in the U.S. and saving lives.
For more than fifty years, America’s Community Health Centers have been developing innovative solutions in response to the specific needs of the communities they serve. Today, health centers serve more than 24 million patients in nearly 10,000 communities nationwide, and are breaking down barriers to bring access to high-quality, integrated care to the areas where it’s most needed. With strong bipartisan support from policymakers, health center-led innovation is changing the face of health care delivery in thousands of communities.
