NACHC Statement on Interim President and CEO Appointment

The past two years have presented a unique set of challenges that changed the world, including those of us at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC).

Amid this change, NACHCโ€™s President and CEO is taking leave, and in the interim, the Board has appointed Rachel Gonzales-Hanson to serve in his stead. Rachel has decades of experience and an unparalleled commitment to NACHCโ€™s health centers, patients, and the association. Rachel is eager to accelerate NACHCโ€™s work on key priorities: a renewed commitment to equity and social justice, strengthening the infrastructure of the community health movement, building a mission driven workforce and securing reliable funding to meet the evolving needs of communities in these pandemic times and beyond.

Throughout our 50+ year history, NACHC has continuously served as the voice for health centers and patients, and we remain committed to the work at hand and in moving our mission forward.
