NACHC Statement on Interim President and CEO Appointment

The past two years have presented a unique set of challenges that changed the world, including those of us at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC).

Amid this change, NACHC’s President and CEO is taking leave, and in the interim, the Board has appointed Rachel Gonzales-Hanson to serve in his stead. Rachel has decades of experience and an unparalleled commitment to NACHC’s health centers, patients, and the association. Rachel is eager to accelerate NACHC’s work on key priorities: a renewed commitment to equity and social justice, strengthening the infrastructure of the community health movement, building a mission driven workforce and securing reliable funding to meet the evolving needs of communities in these pandemic times and beyond.

Throughout our 50+ year history, NACHC has continuously served as the voice for health centers and patients, and we remain committed to the work at hand and in moving our mission forward.
