National Health Center T/TA Needs Assessment Open for Input!

About the National Needs Assessment

The Health Resources and Services Administration’s Bureau of Primary Health Care (HRSA/BPHC) has requested the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) to conduct a national health center needs assessment in collaboration with the 20 National Cooperative Agreement (NCA) organizations. Health center response to the needs assessment will inform the development of operational training and technical assistance (T/TA) provided by the 20 NCA organizations to health centers. The information received from the assessment will inform future T/TA planning, development, dissemination, and evaluation to best support health center operational needs.

Objectives: This consolidated Needs Assessment will:

  • Minimize Health Center burden by reducing the number of needs assessments deployed.
  • Increase Health Center ease in response through a more streamlined needs assessment.
  • Identify training topics and preferred delivery modes to best support health centers’ delivery of high quality care through improved operations.
Who should complete the assessment

All health center staff members are strongly encouraged to participate and provide feedback from all levels of the organization.

How to complete the assessment

The assessment will take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete. If you are a health center CEO or CMO you will receive your own personalized link to the survey from, on or around September 12, 2018.

Remaining health center staff (not CEO/CMO) can complete the assessment via an easy online portal.
