Top 10 Documentation and Revenue Tips in Community Health: Thursday, January 20th from 2:30PM – 4:00PM ET

In this webinar session we will review opportunities for Community Health Centers to improve their clinical documentation, professional coding, and medical billing with a focus on the unique CMS rules and regulations we face when reporting our valuable health services to our various insurance entities. We will pay particular attention on how all staff can work together to balance your clinical and business goals through proper application of the CPT, HCPCS-II, and ICD-10-CM code set rules when reporting quality data (ex. HEDIS, UDS, Performance Measurement, and Risk Adjusted Coding) and submitting an accurate annual cost report.  All content is presented from the perspective of a CMS-approved federally qualified Health Center with a focus on details found within CMS Claims/Benefits Manuals Chapters 9 and 13.

Treating Substance/Opioid Use Disorders via Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in Community Health: Thursday, January 27th from 2:30PM – 4:00PM ET

By providing CMS-covered Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services in the treatment of Substance/Opioid Use Disorders (SUD and OUD) your community health center’s clinical providers may be eligible for a fuller range of provider loan repayment programs while providing desperately needed services to patients who need help with the medical and behavioral health issues related to this other public health emergency.

Integrating Primary Care and Mental/Behavioral Health services is key, and this webinar will outline the steps needed to effectively document, code, and bill for services including screening for SUD/OUD and providing care during the induction, stabilization, and maintenance phases of MAT.  Individual state Medicaid issues are too numerous and will not be specifically referred to on a state-by-state basis.
