Join us to Advocate for Community Health Centers!
At NACHC, we’re passionate about the power of advocacy to transform healthcare access in America. Our vision is ambitious yet achievable: to position Community Health Centers (CHCs) as the employer, provider and partner of choice and expand access to care to one in 3 people nationwide.
Our dedicated Grassroots Advocacy team works hand-in-hand with CHCs, Primary Care Associations (PCAs), Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCNs), and partners at every level – from local communities to our nation’s capital in Washington, D.C.

NACHC Fly-Ins
National fly-ins are a highly effective way to elevate the voice of Community Health Center (CHC) advocates with lawmakers in Washington, D.C. Over the past year, CHC and Primary Care Association (PCA) leaders conducted hundreds of bipartisan meetings with members of Congress and staff, directly shaping policy conversations and helping secure the largest increase in mandatory funding for the Community Health Center Fund in a decade.

National Health Center Week
National Health Center Week is celebrated annually in August with the goal of raising awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers. For information about events, sponsorship, and more, visit NACHC’s National Health Center Week website.
Advocacy Leadership Program (ALP)
NACHC’s Advocacy Leadership Program (ALP) provides training, resources/tools, and peer learning opportunities to emerging leaders as they foster advocacy engagement within their health centers and communities. NACHC hosts two virtual four-month ALP cohorts each year (spring and fall).
Advocacy Centers of Excellence (ACE)
Through NACHC’s Advocacy Center of Excellence (ACE) program, Community Health Centers (CHCs) and Primary Care Associations (PCAs) are recognized for prioritizing advocacy to ensure that policymakers and other key stakeholders commit to supporting the affordable, comprehensive, and innovative care that health centers provide. There are three ACE levels – Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each ACE designation is valid for two years. NACHC has established a separate ACE recognition program for PCAs and HCCNs.
