Overview
Health centers are uniquely positioned to expand access to specialized care for people who, due to historical and structural injustices, have been stigmatized and are more vulnerable to undertreatment and mistreatment of pain and Substance Use Disorders (SUDs). Since health center care teams around the country are eager to provide equitable, compassionate, high-quality pain management and SUD treatment with meaningful linkages to care, NACHC has organized findings, resources, and successful strategies from experts around the country.
Feature
Increasing Equity in Pain Management, Substance Use Disorder Treatment, and Linkages to Care, derives its foundation from the outcomes of NACHC’s February 2023 gathering, which convened 25 experts in health equity, pain management, and substance use disorder treatment from various regions in the United States.
