Get Ready for 2026: Understanding the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program (MDPNP) and the Medicare Transaction Facilitator (MTF)

Date and Time: 12/10/25 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM ET

Description

Is your pharmacy prepared for the upcoming Medicare changes? Beginning January 1, 2026, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will launch the first round of the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program (MDPNP), established under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). This program allows Medicare to negotiate maximum fair prices (MFP) for ten high-cost drugs, including Eliquis, Enbrel, Entresto, Farxiga, Fiasp/Novolog, Imbruvica, Januvia, Jardiance, Stelara, and Xarelto. To ensure continued reimbursement for any Medicare Part D prescriptions, pharmacies must enroll in the Medicare Transaction Facilitator (MTF) by January 1, 2026.

Join NACHC's Regulatory Affairs team on December 9 to learn how your pharmacy, or your contract pharmacy partners, can prepare for this major change. Experts will guide you through the MTF enrollment process and key deadlines. Participants will gain clarity on who within their organization should take the lead, how the new requirements interact with 340B pricing, and the necessary steps to remain compliant. Don’t miss this session to ensure your community health center is ready to receive Medicare Part D reimbursements in 2026. Register here.
