Overview
During times of change and uncertainty, strategic planning and scenario planning are essential governance tools that boards and CEOs can use to anticipate risk, align decisions, and protect long‑term sustainability. Not only is strategic planning required by the Health Center Program, but it is also an important practice for ensuring the health center is sustainable and thriving now and into the future.
The 75-minute session will focus on:
- the role of the board in strategic planning,
- different strategic planning approaches,
- how boards can provide effective oversight by tracking key performance indicators,
- adapting a plan to meet current needs, and
- how the use of scenario planning can help health centers remain nimble in a changing landscape.

- The sessions will be conducted in English.
- This program will take place online via Zoom. Registrants should ensure that they are equipped with the technological resources (e.g., tablet or computer, internet connection, etc.) needed to successfully attend each session.
Attendee Cancellation Policy: All Cancellations must be in writing and must be received at NACHC on/before June 4, 2026.
- Cancellations received on/before June 4, 2026 will be assessed a $100 processing fee.
- Cancellations received after June 4, 2026 are not refundable.
- Cancellations after the conclusion of the training are non-refundable.
- Substitutions are encouraged.
- “No Shows” are non-refundable but will have access to the session recording for 30 days.
- Registrations are not transferable.
