In this session, Clinical Psychologist Dr. Jonathan Neufeld will review the best practices for building, operating and sustaining a telebehavioral health practice in an FQHC setting. He will cover strategies for improving etiquette, assessing and mitigating patient risk, and updates on telehealth billing and policies related to the COVID-19 pandemic and public health emergency.
Learning Objectives:
1. Participants will list and discuss best practices for building and maintaining rapport using telehealth.
2. Participants will recognize risks associated with telehealth use and take steps to inform patients and mitigate those risks.
3. Participants will understand how the evolving public health emergency (and its eventual end) are likely to affect telebehavioral services at health centers.
