Health for All: Community Health Centers Providing Primary Care Where It Matters Most
Submission Deadline: July 10, 2026
If your center walls could talk, imagine the powerful stories of healing, hope, and community they would tell. Now they can. Help bring the voices and visions of community health centers to life via the “Health for All: Community Health Centers Providing Primary Care Where It Matters Most” art gallery, debuting at NACHC’s Community Health Conference (CHI).
With a goal of having pieces represent all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, the 6 US affiliated Pacific Islands, NACHC invites you to showcase the visual narratives that define your community of caring.
Health centers are invited to submit photos of artwork displayed in their CHCs, on themes such as food as health, the fight against chronic disease or the history of health centers. In addition to CHI 2026 and NACHC’s 2027 Policies & Issues Forum, these amazing pieces of art will be displayed at upcoming HLTH Inc. events including HLTH USA 2026. HLTH Inc. is the leading convener for the health innovation community and impact-driven initiatives in healthcare.

Photo Submission Guidelines
General Requirements
Before submitting, please ensure your photos meet our minimum technical standards. We accept JPEG and TIFF formats. JPEG files should be saved at the highest quality setting (90–100%); TIFF files are preferred for prints 16″ or larger.
Minimum resolution: 300 DPI at the intended print size Minimum pixel dimensions: 3000 × 2000 pixels (6 megapixels) for small prints; 6000 × 4000 pixels or higher for large-format work
How to Capture the Best Quality Photos
Use the highest resolution your camera allows. In your camera or phone settings, set image quality to “Large” or “RAW” if available. Avoid compressed formats like HEIC unless you convert to high-quality JPEG before submitting.
Shoot in good, even lighting. Natural light from a window (indirect, not direct sunlight) is ideal. Avoid harsh shadows, flash glare, or mixed light sources (e.g., daylight and indoor bulbs together), which can shift colors.
Keep the camera steady. Use a tripod or rest your camera on a stable surface. Blurry images cannot be corrected and will be rejected. Use your camera’s self-timer or a remote shutter to eliminate shake when pressing the button.
Fill the frame with your art. Get close enough that the artwork or subject occupies most of the frame. Cropping digitally after the fact reduces resolution.
Shoot straight on. For flat artwork (paintings, drawings, prints), position your camera parallel to the surface to avoid keystoning — the trapezoidal distortion that occurs when shooting at an angle.
Do not use digital zoom. Optical zoom (on phones, this means moving closer) retains quality; digital zoom simply enlarges pixels and reduces sharpness.
Check focus before submitting. Zoom in on your image at 100% on a computer screen to verify the subject is sharp. What looks sharp on a phone screen may be blurry when printed.
Submit your photos along with:
- Your health center’s name and location
- Your contact information
