CONFERENCE INFO
Fueling a Movement to Forge a Healthier Future for All
Gaylord National Harbor, Washington, D.C.
Conference: February 9-12
Join us for NACHC’s 2026 Policy & Issues Forum (P&I) – the nation’s premier gathering of Community Health Center leaders, February 9-12 at the Gaylord National Harbor. P&I also includes targeted educational sessions and networking opportunities for our nation’s Migratory and Seasonal Agricultural Workers.
2026 NACHC P&I
Join us as we celebrate 60 years of CHCs and chart the course for the next era of primary care. Connect with fellow CHC leaders, advocate directly with bipartisan lawmakers on Capitol Hill, and explore innovative strategies to build thriving communities.
Who attends: CHC executives, clinicians, and board members; leaders of state and regional primary care associations (PCAs) and health center–controlled networks (HCCNs); and other partner organizations.
Honoring the Past: This year’s national conference kicks off as CHCs mark a major historic milestone – 60 years of providing excellent and affordable care to rural, urban, mountain, and frontier communities. Learn more about CHC history.
Planning for the future: NACHC is laying the groundwork to expand CHCs and transform primary care through the Triple Double strategy with three critical goals: doubling primary care spending, doubling the number of CHC patients served, and doubling the primary care workforce.
Already the nation’s largest primary care system: CHCs serve nearly 52 million patients—approximately 1 in 7 Americans, including 1 in 3 people in rural areas—through a network of more than 1,500 CHCs operating over 17,000 service delivery sites, supported by a dedicated workforce of over 330,000 professionals.
Despite their extraordinary impact, CHCs represent roughly 1% of total annual health care spending in the U.S. Their integrated, comprehensive care model improves health outcomes and reduces costly emergency room visits, delivering substantial savings to American taxpayers.
Strengthening and expanding primary care to more Americans will be a key focus of the gathering. A powerful lineup of thought leaders, education sessions, and peer exchanges will spotlight innovative approaches to chronic disease management, explore promising new care models, and allow attendees to bring breakthrough strategies back to communities.
