Booking Deposit:
A credit card is required to secure you booking, and a deposit equal to one night’s room and tax will be charged sometime on or after the cut-off date, Friday, January 16, 2026. Please note this deposit is charged directly by the hotel and is required for all bookings; NACHC does not have any control over this fee or its collection.
ConferenceDirect is the official housing bureau for the P&I 2026 Policy & Issues Forum. Any attempts to solicit hotel reservations other than ConferenceDirect are unauthorized and are not endorsed by the P&I 2026 Policy & Issues Forum. While other parties may advertise lower rates, they do not have access to the negotiated discount rates, may be invalid, carry excessive charges, or may be an attempt to spam credit card information. If you are approached by any unauthorized third party, please contact ConferenceDirect or the P&I 2026 Policy & Issues Forum.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A: Housing opens on Tuesday, November 18, at 2:00 PM ET / 1:00 PM CT.
To receive the NACHC Group Rate, all hotel reservations must be made by the cut-off date: Friday, January 16, 2026.
A: All reservations must be made through our official housing company, ConferenceDirect, by using the housing link provided to receive the NACHC Group Rate.
Please be patient. High traffic on launch day may cause delays. Do not refresh your browser, and this may push you further back in the queue.
A:
- Online: You may book one room at a time, and each booking must include a unique first and last name affiliated with your organization.
- Phone: Multiple rooms may be booked, but again, each must have a unique name.
- Note: Any duplicate-name bookings may be canceled or adjusted to the hotel’s standard (non-discounted) rate. The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, in conjunction with ConferenceDirect , will conduct audits to ensure compliance and provide fair access for all attendees.
A: This usually means that one or more of your preferred nights are sold out. Please contact our housing support team at ConferenceDirect via [email protected] to check for availability.
A: Possibly. We are monitoring availability and may request additional rooms. However:
- This depends on hotel inventory during the conference dates (February 9-12).
- The group rate may increase for any added rooms.
A: We strongly discourage booking through third-party websites outside of ConferenceDirect. Booking via the official NACHC group link via ConferenceDirect guarantees:
- Your room is part of the official block.
- You will not be relocated if the hotel oversells.
- You remain connected to essential attendee communications and amenities.
A: Changes to Reservations:
- Before December 17, 2025: Changes should be made through the booking site by clicking the “Modify” link in your confirmation email. You can also contact ConferenceDirect for assistance in updating your reservation.
- After December 17, 2025: Changes should be made directly with the Gaylord National. Once final reservations have been sent to Gaylord, neither ConferenceDirect nor NACHC will have access to update your booking.
Cancellations: Reservations may be cancelled either using the link in your confirmation email or by reaching out to the ConferenceDirect housing support team. A cancellation fee may apply, based on the following timeframes:
- Before December 17: No cancellation fee.
- December 17 – 3 days before arrival: A cancellation fee of $100 will be charged to the card on file.
- Within 72 hours of arrival: Cancellations within 72 hours of your confirmed arrival date will be subject to a forfeiture of your deposit of one night’s room and tax (no resort fee). Please note this fee is charged by the hotel and NACHC does not have the ability to waive it. If you have extenuating circumstances, please contact the hotel directly to discuss.
A: To obtain your hotel confirmation number, please contact the housing support team at ConferenceDirect via [email protected]. We also recommend checking your spam or junk email folders for your confirmation email.
A: Reservations are first held in our booking system and sent to the hotel 30 days prior to the event. At that time, the Gaylord will charge the required booking deposit to the credit card on file and send an updated confirmation to the email address on the reservation. If you need assistance before that time, please contact the ConferenceDirect housing support team.
HOUSING POLICIES
In an effort to be sure that our hotels are able to accept the maximum number of reservations, NACHC has implemented the following housing policies:
- Each reservation must have a unique name. No person may book more than one room in their name.
- A deposit of one nights room and tax will be taken on or after the cut-off date of Friday, January 16, 2026, in order to guarantee your reservation.
Current Policy: The P&I 2026 Policy & Issues Forum housing bureau, ConferenceDirect, will charge a $100 cancellation fee for room cancellations made on or after December 17, 2025 through 72-hours prior to arrival. Should you cancel, this charge will appear on your credit card statement as “ConferenceDirect LLC”. Cancellations made directly with the hotel will also incur this fee.
HOUSING SCAM ALERT!
NACHC has been notified that an unauthorized housing company and/or travel agency is contacting exhibitors and attendees about sleeping rooms for the conference. This unauthorized organization may be part of a phishing scam designed to collect credit card information from conference registrants. Our exclusive housing partner for all NACHC conferences is ConferenceDirect and the individual hotels with whom we contract for our housing blocks. Neither ConferenceDirect nor the individual hotels will contact you to make your hotel reservations. Each NACHC conference attendee shall make their own reservation either by calling the hotel directly or through the online link found on the NACHC website. Any other housing agency, other than ConferenceDirect or the individual hotels listed on NACHC’s housing page, is not authorized by NACHC, has not entered into agreements with any of our hotels to reserve rooms for NACHC attendees on behalf of the hotel, and is not able to guarantee rates and accommodations during the dates of the meeting. Additional information regarding travel and housing accommodations for any of NACHC’s conferences is available at www.nachc.org. Remember, NACHC, ConferenceDirect, and all of our partnering hotels will not contact you by phone or email requesting credit card information.
