Overview

This virtual training is designed for new health center board members. The session provides an introduction to the three major categories of board roles: Strategy, Oversight and Policy, and Board Functioning. Additionally, the training will discuss individual board member duties and introduce some fundamentals related to meetings, committees, and board culture.

• Articulate an individual board member’s duties
• Describe some components of effective board functioning
