Overview
NACHC’s Leadership Exchange for Clinical Executives is a six-month training program for health center Clinical Executives (top strategic leader, various titles) to grow in proficiency of selected core competencies and learn with and from peers. The program includes expert-led modules, mentorship from experienced Clinical Leaders, and peer networking.

Training Audience
This training is most appropriate for individuals new to the Clinical Executive level, new to the health center field as a Clinical Executive, or those seeking a clinical leadership education. The sessions address core competency development for learners at the novice, advanced beginner, competent levels. It is open for all health center Clinical Executives (or equivalents) to apply.
Course Format/Schedule
The NLE is a six-month program cohort-based learning program. Participants will attend an in-person Kick-off session and six live virtual monthly sessions. In groups led by an experienced Clinical Leader/Mentor, participants apply course learning to real-world scenarios, enhance professional relationships, and create peer accountability to action.

- May - September 2026:
- Core Content Modules: 1:00 - 4:30 PM ET every second Wednesday of the month
- Mentor Group Meetings: 3:00-4:00 PM ET every fourth Wednesday of the month
- Final BONUS Content Session: September 23, 2026, 3:00-4:00 PM ET.

Enjoy a 10% group discount on the third or more attendee registration from the same organization. All attendees must be registered at the same time to receive the discount.
The registration fee includes participant fees for all in-person and related CMEs, mentor group participation, and breakfast and lunch at the in-person event. Registration does not include hotel costs or other travel expenses.
Continuing Education Credits
By attending the Leadership Exchange for Clinical Executives offered by the National Association of Community Health Centers, participants may earn up to 29 ACHE Qualifying Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.
This program has also been approved for 29 CDE credits through the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians.
The AAFP has reviewed Leadership Exchange for Clinical Executives, and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Term of approval is from 04/14/2026 to 09/26/2026. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

How to Apply
Potential participants must complete an application and be accepted into this program. Upon submission of the application, NACHC staff will review your application and notify you of your acceptance within five business days. After the application is accepted, NACHC will send the participant registration/payment instructions and any relevant hotel block information. Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel arrangements to in-person events. Hotel costs and any other travel expenses are not included in the registration fees.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the course is full (approximately 60 participants) or until registration closes on April 10. A waiting list will be developed once the course has reached capacity. Wait listed applicants will be given priority to fill a cancellation spot.
