NACHC National Fly-In Day

NACHC National Fly-In Day

National Fly-Ins Overview

National fly-ins are a highly effective way to elevate the voice of Community Health Center (CHC) advocates with lawmakers in Washington, D.C. Over the past year, CHC and Primary Care Association (PCA) leaders conducted hundreds of bipartisan meetings with members of Congress and staff, directly shaping policy conversations and helping secure the largest increase in mandatory funding for the Community Health Center Fund in a decade.

NACHC works in close partnership with state/regional primary care associations (PCAs) for upcoming fly-ins and opportunities to engage with elected officials. If you are interested in traveling to Washington, D.C. to speak with your members of Congress, please be sure to contact your state/regional PCA to coordinate these visits.

Upcoming NACHC Fly-Ins

Building on that momentum, NACHC is pleased to announce the following 2026 National Fly-In schedule

  • June 2-3, 2026
  • September 15-16, 2026
  • December 8-9, 2026

Dates and details remain subject to change based on congressional scheduling and legislative developments.

In-District Advocacy

Additionally, in-district advocacy remains one of the most impactful ways to influence federal policy. Meeting with lawmakers in their home districts ensures they hear directly from the patients, providers, and communities affected by their decisions — and reinforces CHCs as essential, local partners.

We strongly encourage CHC leaders to schedule meetings with their lawmakers during the following in-district work periods:

  • March 30 – April 10, 2026
  • May 26 – 29, 2026
  • July 6 – 10, 2026
