Transforming Healthcare Access with Telehealth – A Rural CHC Success Story

Transforming Healthcare Access with Telehealth – A Rural CHC Success Story

Date and Time: Tuesday June 10, 2025 from 2:00 – 3:30PM ET

Overview

In rural communities, access to healthcare services remains a major challenge primarily due to long travel distances. But one rural community health center in Moses Lake, WA is reducing those barriers through Telehealth.

Launched during the public health crisis of 2020, telehealth peaked in 2021 but utilization dropped sharply as clinicians’ and patients’ frustration with their telehealth experience continued.

Realizing the continued need of their community to receive “care at a distance” without travel, Moses Lake Community Health Center (MLCHC) leveraged technical assistance funding from Thriving Together (one of Washington’s 9 Accountable Communities of Health) to re-launch an optimized telehealth program.

Join us for a 90-minute webinar to learn more about this community health center’s success story of leveraging a pragmatic Telehealth Optimization Framework to provide high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive primary health services for the entire family irrespective of their location.
