Bethesda, MD—James Green, MBA, CFRE, has joined the leadership team of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) as Chief Development Officer (CDO). Mr. Green has more than 20 years of experience transforming development programs across health care and international relief organizations. As CDO, Mr. Green will drive NACHC’s ongoing diversification of revenues and strategic engagement with new and existing partners of choice.
Prior to joining NACHC, Mr. Green served as CDO at Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, where he oversaw the integration of several foundations and secured major gifts that strengthened community health. Earlier in his career, he advanced philanthropy at Mercy Health, building donor partnerships to expand access to compassionate care. He also held lead development roles at Rise Against Hunger and United Way, consistently building innovative strategies that connect vision to sustainable revenue growth.
Mr. Green earned his Executive MBA from the University of Colorado and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. He has been recognized by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy as a Top Performer, underscoring his track record of diversifying funding portfolios. A United States Air Force veteran and former airborne linguist, Mr. Green brings a lifelong commitment to service, teamwork, and mission-driven leadership to his role at NACHC.
